James Campbell – Director
Jim Campbell has 30 years of management experience in diverse segments of the financial services industry. He began his career as an operations and technology professional in the international banking community. During this time, Jim was instrumental in two bank start-up initiatives where he developed the initial framework and infrastructure for each organization.
Since 1990, when he joined OFFITBANK as Director of Operations, Jim has focused exclusively on the wealth management industry. At OFFITBANK, Jim developed a technological and operational infrastructure that paved the way for efficient growth, increased controls, and state of the art client reporting and service. Following OFFITBANK, Jim served as a Senior Vice President at Fiduciary Trust Company International, a subsidiary of the Franklin Templeton Group. At Fiduciary, he was responsible for the day-to-day support, strategic direction, and annual budget for Client Services, Administration and Operations for the Ultra High Net-Worth Client Business.
More recently, as a Partner of Family Office Metrics and a Founding Partner of Windward Advisory Group, Jim has provided management consulting services to the wealth management industry. His clients include trust companies, private banking groups, investment advisory firms, multi-family offices, single-family offices and ultra-high net worth families. Jim has provided clients with strategic advice in start-up situations, redeveloping their business models, acquisitions and competitive/gap analysis. He has provided in-depth tactical advice on risk management, due diligence, process and control, technology and operations. Jim has guided several wealthy families through the process of identifying and choosing wealth management service providers. He has helped educate families on family governance, protecting privacy, internal controls, and various other single-family office issues.
Jim has a jointly issued Global MBA from The London School of Economics, NYU Stern School of Business, and The HEC School of Management in Paris. He resides in New Jersey with his wife and two daughters.
